Solidarité internationale au Bénin avec réalisation d'un court-métrage

La place de la femme dans l’agriculture béninoise – Réalisation d’un court métrage au sein d’un projet de solidarité internationale

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

Nous sommes Camille et Sarah, deux étudiantes du CFPPA de Digne-Carmejane en apprentissage dans le secteur agricole. Nous avons chacune un parcours atypique, l'une en reconversion du secteur social avec le projet futur d'améliorer les ressources en eau en vu de réduire le gaspillage et la deuxième avec un parcours scolaire international de France à l'Allemagne en passant par le Japon avec comme projet de s'installer en autosuffisance. Nos parcours rejoignent notre volonté de découvrir de nouveaux pays et de nouvelles cultures pour échanger sur nos convictions.

Début 2024, nous avons réalisé avec l’aide de 6 autres étudiantes de notre formation le court-métrage « Regard sur l’agriculture au féminin ». Ce documentaire présente dix femmes issues du milieu agricole de la région Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur sur le thème de l’évolution de la place de la femme dans l’agriculture.

Il a été diffusé au Centre Culturel René-Char à Digne-les-Bains le 09 avril 2024 devant un public de 150 personnes. Le film a été très apprécié et cela a été pour nous une grande réussite.

Nous envisageons aujourd’hui la suite de cette aventure en réalisant un documentaire similaire mettant en avant des agricultrices du Bénin !

Avec 10 autres jeunes en formation agricole des lycées de Aix Valabre et de Digne Carmejane, nous avons la chance de participer à un projet de solidarité internationale du 27 octobre au 11 novembre 2024 au sud du Bénin dans la ferme école SAIN située dans le village de Kakanitchoé. Cet échange est possible grâce au programme JSI (Jeunesse Solidarité Internationale) de l’ONG CIDEV, avec lequel des étudiants Béninois en service civique que nous avons rencontré sont déjà venu découvrir l’enseignement agricole français tout au long de l’année 2023/2024. Notre voyage sera encadré par une professeure de chacun de nos lycées respectifs ainsi qu’un membre de l’ONG CIDEV.

Notre objectif est de rencontrer des jeunes béninois, afin de partager et d’échanger nos pratiques agricoles et ainsi de nous approprier les enjeux mondiaux qui concernent l’agriculture et l’alimentation.

Plusieurs ateliers de formation et d’échanges seront organisés autour de thématiques différentes : Maraîchage, Aménagement des espaces verts, élevage, Arboriculture et Agroforesterie, Compostage, Transformation agroalimentaire, Ecotourisme. Des rencontres avec des artistes auront également lieu pour favoriser les échanges culturels et productions artistiques en lien avec l'agroécologie. Une journée sera consacrée à l'organisation du festival Alimenterre du Bénin ainsi qu’à des projections-débats et notre court-métrage « Regard sur l'agriculture au féminin » fera l’ouverture du festival !

Tout au long de ce voyage, nous allons rencontrer de nombreuses agricultrices que nous voulons interroger, comprendre et mettre en avant grâce à la réalisation d’un second documentaire. Le film sera diffusé à notre retour en région PACA puis plus largement à travers la France si l’opportunité se présente.

Nous sollicitons votre aide pour atteindre l’objectif financier du voyage qui a un budget total de 28 000€ (12 000€ pour les billets d’avion, 3 000€ pour les frais de séjour, hébergement et nourriture, 1500€ pour l’achat de matériaux pour la restauration de certains espaces, matériel de projection et de tournage vidéo, etc.).

Nous avons besoin de votre aide pour rendre possible ce projet de Solidarité Internationale et toutes les découvertes qui vont nous enrichir humainement et professionnellement. Chacun peut être acteur de ce projet et chaque don est un énorme cadeau ! Merci à tous !

The place of women in Beninese agriculture – Production of a short film within an international solidarity project

Hello everyone,

We are Camille and Sarah, two agricultural apprenticeship students from the CFPPA of Digne-Carmejane in France. We each have atypical educational paths, one in career transition from the social sector with a future project to improve water resources to be able to reduce waste and the second one with an international educational background from France to Germany via Japan with the project to create a place of self-sufficiency. Our paths reflect our desire to discover new countries and new cultures in order to exchange about our convictions.

Early 2024, we produced with the help of 6 other students the short film “Regard sur l'agriculture au féminin”. This documentary presents ten women from the agricultural world of the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region on the theme of the evolution of women’s place in agriculture.

It was shown at the Centre Culturel René-Char in Digne-les-Bains on April 09, 2024 to an audience of 150. The film was very well received and it was a great success for us.

Today, this adventure continues with the production of a similar documentary featuring women farmers in Benin!

Along with 10 other young people studying in the agricultural schools of Aix Valabre and Digne Carmejane in south of France, we have the chance to participate in an international solidarity project from October 27 to November 11, 2024 in southern Benin, at the farm-school SAIN in the village of Kakanitchoé. This exchange is possible thanks to the JSI program (Youth International Solidarity) of the NGO CIDEV, with whom we already met Beninese students on civic service who came throughout the year 2023/2024 to discover French agricultural education. Our trip will be supervised by a teacher from each of our respective schools and a member of the NGO CIDEV.

Our aim is to meet young Beninese people, to share and exchange our agricultural practices, and thus to take ownership of global issues concerning agriculture and food.

Several training and exchange workshops will be organized around different themes: gardening, landscaping, animal breeding, arboriculture and agroforestry, composting, food processing and ecotourism. Meetings with artists will also take place to encourage cultural exchanges and artistic productions linked to agroecology. One day will be devoted to the organization of the Alimenterre festival, as well as to screening-debates, and our short film “Regard sur l'agriculture au féminin” will open the festival!

Throughout the trip, we'll meet several Beninese women farmers, whom we want to interview, understand and highlight through the production of a second documentary. The film will be shown on our return to the PACA region, then more widely across France if the opportunity arises.

We're asking for your help to reach our financial target for the trip, which has a total budget of 28,000€ (12,000€ for plane tickets, 3,000€ for accommodation and food, 1,500€ for materials to restore certain areas, and also projection and video shooting equipment, etc.).
