L'HEURE VIDE HUMANITAIRE - Venezuelan refugees

While travelling through South America by car we crossed the border of Ecuador and Colombia in Rumichaca. There we saw so many Venezuelan refugees in such great misery without the help they needed, that we decided to stay. We started this NGO, and have been working together succesfully with local and international organizations to give them the help they need. Please visit us at: www.lheurevidehumanitaire.orgInstagram: L'HEURE VIDE humanitaire L’HEURE VIDE humanitaire is a small network-based NGO focused on short-term projects in emergency situations involving refugee issues worldwide. Our approach is to assist existing humanitarian aid structures and local associations and to supplement them when their opportunities to act are limited or restraint. Our aim is not to direct or to implement. We are there to help. This approach ensures that we can focus on what is needed on the ground and in the now to fill the gaps in aid left by big organizational structures and complex international policy. As a small and nimble organization, we are not limited by bureaucracy or massive overhead. This allows us to concentrate our efforts where we excel: organizing the available resources in a hands-on, creative way to produce tangible results quickly and effectively. The current project is carried out by; Sofie Sleumer, founder and board-memberMichel Mulder, founder and board-member; Clarity Collins, humanitarian aid worker;Sandra Naranjo, human rights lawyer; Sandra Soto, director refugee shelter Alberque Sol de los Pastos; Dayana Paez, leader of the Venezuelan refugee community in Ipiales, Colombia We work closely together with the following organizations locally; Red Cross Colombia, World Food Program Colombia, Unicef Ecuador, ADRA Ecuador.

S0S Cameroon the private foundation that helps people in need in Cameroon

Hello everyone & welcome to this money pot!Have you read about what is happening in Cameroon since 2016? It's a catastrophe! The lawyers and professors of the English speaking minority began corporatists claims to which the government responded with violent repression and it provoked an uprising in the English regions and also separatists demands. Since 2010, the North of Cameroon is assaulted by the Boko Haram terrorists and the militias of the Cameroonian regime. In the East of Cameroon, there are incursions of rebels coming from the Central African Republic. It is in this disastrous context that SOS Cameroon is helping women, young and older people who need financial assistance to start their income generating projects. We believe that regarless of the realities of their countries Africans should not be forced into exile. Africans do not find a solution to their own problems and to those of their continent by fleeing to the West at their own risk. They have to face their challenges at home. That is why we gave money to 28 years old Natacha, who still lives with her parents and who, despite of her degree in commerce from a reputable institute, could not find a job. We gave that money to Natacha for a purpose: she needed a a brand new fridge and a brand new mixer and a brand new plasticizer because she wanted to produce and market natural fruit juices. SOS Cameroon did it because she really wanted to create her own income generating project, and also because she is very determined and she is competent. SOS Cameroon will also support financially and technically Vera-Truth: a young farmer who produces and market  garlic and Irish potatoes as a wholesaler. For Marcel, we will also finance an internship in a welding workshop to allow him to learn his trade, to help him integrate the job market or to prepare him to create his own welding workshop in the future. And then, there is also Ebenezer: the young apprentice in mechanics that in the past we have supported financially, and that we will continue to support so that in the future, he will be employed or self employed if he lauches his own garage. SOS Cameroon is a close knit community, it is also a family within which we are our sister's and our brother's keepers. As you can imagin, SOS Cameroon has plenty of drawers of cases like Natacha, Vera-Truth, Marcel and Ebenezer. We want to support them until they can fly of their own, until they support themselves, their families and their communities. Cameroon is gloomier since 2016, SOS Cameroon wants to give hope to all the Nathachas, Vera-Truths, Marcels and Ebenezers of the country, so they no longer think of going into the perilous adventures of exile. That is why we need you to help us help them. Please support SOS Cameroon and all the Natachas, Vera-Truths, Marcels and Ebenezers of Cameroon. Be part of an unending chain of solidarity that we want to create across the earthly planet. Women empowerment

Hello everyone & welcome to this cause!Help me providing extraordinary women with better life conditions!! Zeinab, like many other women in North West Tunisia, is working hard to provide her family with essentials. She is working in very difficult conditions where she has to take very dangerous means of transport to get to work where she is paid less than 3$/day! often times, some of these women are dying in an accident on their way to the field. Moreover, the lack of education and skills is not allowing them to stepup and find other options. They are usually working in agricultural fields collecting plants and fruits and also producing organic jam, dried figs, honey, oils, herbs...When I visited them, it stroke me how hardworking they are and I have been impressed by their will and eagerness to learn and to work more. The only thing they asked for was education! Help to be able to work more and better So I decided I wanted to help them! They deserve better work conditions and more skills’ learning.I am raising funds here in order to:1- initiate a mobile training unit to teach them honey and jam making, accounting and sales basics, marketing and online sales.2- initiate a small transportation company lead by one of them for a safer work commute and a better dispatch of skills based on the needed work. I am climbing Kilimanjaro for that! For me, it’s a way to experience the difficulties these brave women are encountering everyday!!Any small amount will contribute in making a big impact in the life of thousands of women and children!! With just 1-click you can donate to a good cause* Give however much you want* All payments are 100% secure* Why Leetchi.com?
