Our Goddess Gardener needs a Leg to stand on!

Writing this on behalf of a very special human being, Holly Gardner, who also happens to be a “permaculture gardener” in real life!

For the needs of our land, I was looking for a permaculture gardener for years.
Was so happy to find Holly, a beautiful human being, and true “earth keeper” who came to Greece to find community and share her wealth of knowledge about permaculture, connection with all things earthy, and love/discernment of herbs and plants.
Last week, Holly slipped on a dark staircase and found herself in great pain and unable to move, of course. With 2 broken shin bones, tibia and fibula, broken right on the ankle, she was driven from one public hospital to another, from central Peloponnese, to the South, and then to the North again, where she finally made it to a public hospital in Athens. There, caring and overloaded doctors told her she would have to wait a week or more for a surgery that was actually an emergency, Thanks to good friends she somehow found her way to a good private clinic where another good doctor took her under his wings and delivered the much needed surgery, literally overnight.

She is fine now, relieved from the great pain, leg resting in a cast, but will need physical therapy and also to pay the bills owed to the clinic and to the good doctor.
Holly's generosity and belief in life brought her to Europe; she has been availing her incredible knowledge and care for the earth with many (underfunded) communities. Your benevolence could shed so much light unto her world and give her new wings to fly, plus: A NEW HEALTHY LEG TO STAND ON!

Holly’s belief in humanity has carried her this far; the incredible generosity of life is always reciprocal.
May this giving opportunity be a great healing blessing for all of us and for the earth!

A bit more about Holly:

Lifelong, Holly has felt called to give her energy and skills to the work of the regeneration of nature together with recreating the natural agricultural practices of ancestral origins that are integrated into the greater ecosystem rather than at odds with it. For over 25 years she has been a practitioner of permaculture and biodynamic agriculture, water retention landscaping and eco-reforestation in both the USA and Europe. Currently she lives and works in Greece. She designs, implements, manages and teaches on these subjects. Lately the teaching side of her work has been coming to the fore, and she is planning to expand her hands-on projects to include more workshop possibilities. She is passionate to demonstrate both technique and to instill in us the ways in which we can harmoniously come into right relationship with the natural world in our selves, our homes and our communities.
