Hello everyone! My name is TJ and I have been working in a Montessori school since 2016 as an English speaking assistant. I've worked with children from 3 to 11 years old, and after 4 years with elementary age students, I've finally found my niche. I absolutely love working with this vibrant, curious age group. The Montessori classrooms are great for kids to learn at their own pace and also develop self confidence, social skills, and reasoning abilities, amongst other values and knowledge. I've decided to do the guide (or teacher) training for the elementary school ages.
Here in France, you have the possibility to have your various trainings funded by a local organization. I registered and have already started the training after a verbal confirmation of complete funding from the local organisation. Unfortunately, there has been a freeze on funding in our region after an unprecedented number of requests for financing in the educational field. I absolutely do not want to give up on this training, and I need your help. Every donation will help. I have to pay the school fees and Airbnb for three and a half weeks in Paris and two weeks in Montpellier. I also need to urgently buy train tickets to Paris as my next onsite training is in July.
