Pour sauver une petite entreprise (mise à jour)

C'est un rêve que je tente de concrétiser, il est dans ma tête depuis 2009, et je l'ai sérieusement mis en application depuis plus d'un an maintenant.

Je dois malheureusement me rendre à l'évidence. La Book'théière va fermer ses portes. J'ai convenu d'une fin de bail anticipé fin avril et vos participations vont m'aider dans les frais qui me restent à payer. J'ai changé le montant de la cagnotte à cette fin. Ces dernières ainsi que vos messages de soutien me font chaud au coeur.

La book'théière, kesako ? C'était un lieu convivial qui se voulait à la croisée des mondes anglophones et francophones, avec une ouverture internationale bien entendu. Un café-bouquinerie dans le quartier Saint Cybard à Angoulême où il serait possible d'apprendre l'anglais en s'amusant pour les francophones et le français pour les anglophones, avec de temps à autre des expositions artistiques et des accueils d'ateliers créatifs ou d'écriture.

Les charges sont grandes pour cette structure que j'ai créée en 2024. Les cours de langue fonctionnent mais pas assez pour faire face aux charges. Je cherche à les développer. C'est pourquoi je les continuerai à mon domicile.

J'espère qu'ainsi, je pourrai continuer à transmettre ma passion des langues anglaises et françaises.

This is a dream I've been trying to make come true. It's been on my mind since 2009, and I've been seriously working on it for over a year now.

Unfortunately, I have to face the facts. La Book'théière is closing its doors. I have agreed to terminate the lease early at the end of April, and your contributions will help me cover the remaining costs. I have changed the amount of the fund for this purpose. Your contributions and messages of support warm my heart.

What was La Book'théière? It was a friendly place that aimed to be a crossroads between the English-speaking and French-speaking worlds, with an international outlook, of course. A café-bookshop in the Saint Cybard district of Angoulême where French speakers could learn English in a fun way and English speakers could learn French, with occasional art exhibitions and creative or writing workshops.

The costs are high for this structure, which I created in 2024. The language courses are working, but not enough to cover the costs. I am looking to develop them further. That is why I will continue to run them from my home.

I hope that in this way, I will be able to continue to pass on my passion for the English and French languages.
