Yellow Billiard Ball

Dear friends from everywhere,

On 30th July 2016 I am embarking on a challenging journey. During the last months I have been thinking about this project and I wouldn’t have thought that it could become real… but it has! In a few days I will be packing my bags and I will start a tour to Spain ON MY BYCYCLE! Furthermore, I will have a companion for most of the tour who will cycle by my side. Tomáš will be cycling with me up to Switzerland, and then I will continue the journey on my own.

The most important thing is that it will not be only a challenge for ourselves, but it will support a social project as well, because we will contribute with our hard work to fight against leukemia in cooperation with the Association Helping against Leukemia in Passau.

The collected donations will be split:

60 % will be donated to the Association

up to 40 % will be destined to our trip

With your help we would like to gather at least 1 € for every kilometer we will cycle and the distance planned to be reached between Passau and Calatayud is around 2000 km.

Does it sound crazy? Well, maybe, but I will try to do my best and to achieve it. During the tour I will post some photos and write about the progress of the journey, so that everyone can follow it on my blog or on this Facebook page as well.

El día 30 de julio de 2016 me voy a embarcar en un nuevo viaje.

Aunque se trate de un proyecto que ya tenía en mente desde hace meses, hasta ahora no pensaba que pudiera hacerse realidad… ¡pero al final sí que sí! En unos días empaquetaré mis cosas y comenzaré mi viaje de vuelta a España ¡EN BICI!. Además tengo la suerte de ir acompañada la mayor parte del camino, ya que Tomáš pedaleará conmigo hasta Suiza, para después seguir el camino sola.

Lo más importante es que no solo será un objetivo personal, sino que también tendrá carácter social, ya que contribuiremos con nuestro esfuerzo a la lucha contra la leucemia en colaboración con la Asociación de ayuda contra la leucemia en Passau.

Las donaciones recaudadas se destinarán de la siguiente forma:

• 60% será donado a la Asociación de ayuda contra la leucemia
• Hasta el 40% lo destinaremos a los costes del viaje (alojamiento, manutención, material deportivo...)

Con vuestra ayuda nos gustaría recaudar al menos 1 € por cada kilómetro que recorramos en bici y la distancia que separa Passau y Calatayud es de unos 2000 km.

¿Creeis que es una locura? Bueno, quizá, pero intentaré darlo todo para conseguir el reto. Durante el trayecto publicaré algunas fotos y escribiré sobre el desarrollo del viaje, así todo el mundo podrá seguirlo a través del blog o de la página de Facebook.
