On 8th May 2014 my Mum had a life changing accident whilst on holiday.
As a result of this she requires 24 hour care which she receives at Ancaster House in Crieff. Ancaster House provides a wonderful homely environment for Mum (and Dad and all of Mums family and friends who regularly visit).
On 9th May this year I will be undertaking a personal challenge to complete the West Highland Way in 5 days with three of my close friends. Under different cicumstances, Mum would have loved to have joined me on this challenge.
So when I realised this was almost 3 years to the day of Mums accident, I felt compelled to try and raise funds from the challenge to do something special for Mum and the other residents at Ancaster House.
Any donations would be so greatly appreciated (I am walking 99 miles dont forget...).

I have added up all monies donated and it is a whopping £1674!
Thank you so much to all who donated - this money will be put to good use at Ancaster House. Mum particularly likes Michael the kilted singer (told me she fancies him!) so hope to see more of him at Ancaster.
I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone. Thank you seems inadequate somehow but it means so much.
