Mellon Educate 2026: Less Shopping, More Schools!

This year, my Black Friday is going to be a little different... 🇿🇦👷‍♀️

Hi everyone! 👋

As many of you know, November and the Black Friday period have always been the most intense times of the year for me at work. This year, however, having changed roles, I finally have the flexibility to make a long-time dream of mine come true.

Instead of working at a frantic pace behind a screen, from November 7th to 14th, I will be flying to Cape Town, South Africa, to take part in the Building Blitz 2026 with Mellon Educate!

This is an amazing charity dedicated to building schools for children living in poverty. For one week, we’ll be physically helping to build classrooms and literacy hubs to give these kids a chance at a better future.

To participate in this mission, my goal is to raise €2500, which will be donated entirely to the charity.
