Help Klaudia Beat Pancreatic Cancer

Klaudia is a mother of four, a musician, a citizen of the world, and someone who fell deeply in love with Greece, where she chose to built a home and a meaningful artistic career.

However, during the past year, everything changed with one devastating diagnosis: pancreatic cancer — one of the most aggressive forms of the disease.

My name is Lavrentis, and I never imagined I would be writing these words about the woman I love.

At the dawn of 2025, the most unequal battle of our lives began — the battle for Klaudia’s life.
In February, she underwent major surgery to remove most of her pancreas.
Yet, soon after her first chemotherapy, imaging scans revealed what no one wanted to hear: metastasis to the liver.
Upon hearing this development, Klaudia decided — against all odds — to fight even harder.

Since then, her body has endured strong chemotherapy treatments, a strict diet, radiosurgical procedures, hyperthermia sessions, high doses of vitamin C, mistletoe injections, bioresonance therapy, and many other alternative protocols.

Despite all these the liver metastasis is growing and her exams are showing a fast progression of the disease. Additionally, the costs of all these treatments, except chemotherapy, are not covered by the public health system and have far exceeded our financial means.

We live in a small, remote corner of the Peloponnese, on the western coast of Messenia. Here we chose to build our life and raise our four children — now aged 11, 13, 16, and 17.
But daily life has become incredibly challenging. With two children preparing for university entrance exams and two younger ones with their own needs, our days are full and our expenses are overwhelming.

Our parents are no longer with us, except for Klaudia’s father, from whom we have cut all ties due to the inhumane way he reacted upon hearing of his daughter’s illness.
Thankfully, we have close friends who have stood by us every step of the way — cooking meals, driving our children, and helping in countless ways while we focused on Klaudia’s care. And this love is owed mainly to Klaudia.

Klaudia’s connection to Greece began in New York, where she studied classical music. It was there that she fell in love with Greek music and culture, eventually moving to Greece to start her artistic journey. She collaborated with some of the country’s most respected composers and performed everywhere — from Lincoln Center in New York to the Herodeion and the Athens Concert Hall.

When our children were born, Klaudia dedicated herself wholeheartedly to them, while continuing to work as an artistic director and to contribute actively to the local community.
Living among the olive groves, she has always sought beauty — capturing it through her photography, writing songs, recording music, and now, searching for healing.

In this search, we learned about Dendritic Cell Therapy, a promising immunotherapy that uses the body’s own cells to recognize and destroy cancer cells.
The IOZK Clinic in Germany is one of the leading centers for this therapy, but sadly, the cost is beyond our means.
