Girls at school in Tamale

Here in Tamale, in the north of Ghana, a lot of young girls leave the school too early, often because they are going to fully dedicate themselves to household task. Together with Frederick and Volunteering Solutions we are fighting this female illiteracy in deprived communities of Tamale and surroundings, encouraging young women to go to school, teaching them the importance to learn and to invest their time to play significant role within their society. With this collection we are aiming at building another class (physically), brick by brick, to allow other 20 to study and to be ready for the next step, the senior high school in Kumasi.
