CSD bake sale fundraiser

Hello everyone and welcome to Mimi's CSD bake sale money pot!

On the 24th July it is Christopher Street Day, Berlin so to raise funds and mark the day, we are inviting everyone to take part in a pride-themed bake sale at the Mimi office on Friday 23rd. You can bake (or buy) something of your choice to bring into the office and sell. All of the money raised from the cakes sold gets donated to charity.

The chosen charity for our CSD 2021 bake sale is Lambda. Lambda is the first nationwide queer youth center in Berlin for young lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans *, inter * and queers between the ages of 14 and 27 as well as for interested young people including a youth café, counselling opportunities, youth groups and projects.

Our money will go towards re-opening their youth centre in a way that conforms with Corona regulations. Additionally, Berlin has cut funding for all senate supported organisations so their income has also gone down, which makes it even more important to help them make up for it.

Let us come together, bake, share, eat and sell some cake for a great cause.
