1.INTERNET POUR ALLER PLUS LOIN DANS LA MISSION EDUCATIVE !

Aujourd'hui l’Institut IMAGINE a besoin de votre aide pour pérenniser sa vocation. En effet, depuis deux ans, il n’y a plus de connexion internet dans l’école de cinéma.

Internet y est pourtant indispensable : à la fois pour délivrer les cours, mais aussi pour bénéficier des importantes  ressources pédagogiques du web, mettre à jour les logiciels, ainsi que pour assurer la visibilité de l’Institut, de son offre de cours, et du travail réalisé par les élèves.

Un manque fortement préjudiciable à l’Institut. Etre connecté est devenu un enjeu crucial.  

2.UNE CAMPAGNE POUR  SOUTENIR L’INSTITUT AVEC "INTERNET PAR LA LUMIERE" : LE LIFI

La présente campagne a pour but d’installer les infrastructures Lifi (c'est-à-dire : internet par la lumière), dans l’Institut. Cette nouvelle technologie permettra de répondre aux problématiques d’accès à internet rencontrées ici en Afrique de l’ouest, dans un budget peu coûteux, grâce à cette solution durable et écologique.

La révolution Lifi en Afrique

Les fonds levés permettront d’installer des lampes LED dans toutes les salles de classes. Connectées à une box internet, ces lampes offriront à tous les étudiants et aux professeurs un accès à internet par la lumière émise, une connexion optimale pour répondre aux besoins liés à la formation et création cinématographique. Internet par la lumière offre des opportunités nouvelles et inédites dans l'enseignement en Afrique.

3.UN INSTITUT POUR STIMULER LE CINEMA PANAFRICAIN

L’Institut de cinéma IMAGINE a été fondé en 2003 par le réalisateur burkinabè Gaston Kaboré. Récompensé à l’international, le cinéaste originaire de Bobo-Dioulasso, n’a cessé depuis de promouvoir le cinéma panafricain. Il en est aussi l’une des figures les plus poétiques. Ses films nous emmènent dans une nuit de contes africains. Au cœur de cette nuit : un parcours initiatique, un cheminement, et bien souvent un engagement.

1.INTERNET TO GO FURTHER IN THE EDUCATIONAL MISSION!

Today the Imagine Institute needs your help in order to sustain its vocation. Indeed, it's now been two years that the cinema school lost internet connection.

It is however essential : in order to deliver lectures, to benefit from major online pedagogical resources, to update softwares, and to provide visibility to the Institute, to their offer, events, and to the word done by the students. For all these reasons and more, this lack is detrimental to the Institute. Being connected has become crucial.

 2.A CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT THE INSTITUTE WITH "INTERNET BY THE LIGHT" : LIFI 

The current campaigns aims at setting up lifi infrastructures (ie : internet by the light) in the Imagine institute. This new technology will enable internet connectivity problematics in Western Africa to be solved, with an inexensive budget, thanks to a sustainable and ecological solution.

Lifi revolution in Africa

Funds raised will be used to  LED lamps in classrooms. Connected to internet, the lamps will offer students and professors internet access through the light, an efficient connection to answer needs required by cinema trainings and creation. Internet by the light offers new and unprecedented opportunities in education in Africa.

3.AN INSTITUTE TO ENHANCE PANAFRICAN CINEMA

The Institute of cinema IMAGINE was founded in 2003 by the burkinabé cineast Gaston Kaboré. Internationally awarded and recognised, the cineast originating from Bobo-Dioulasso, kept promoting panafrican cinema all along his career. He is also one of most poetic figure of this cinema. His films transports you into an African fairy tale night. In this night : an initiation, a pathway, and very often a commitment.
