POURQUOI UNE BIBLIOTHÉQUE VERTE?

L'idée d'une bibliothèque verte part de plusieurs constats:

1) Le déficit de connaissances en matiére environnementale chez les jeunes et donc leur faible implication dans la lutte pour le changement de comportements et la prise de conscience écologique.

2) La multiplication des menaces environnementales: dégradation des sols, pollution, changement climatique, crise écologique, prolifération des déchets de toutes sortes, dégradation du cadre de vie, général ainsi que scolaire.

3) La faible part réservée aux constructions écologiques dans les marchés publics.

L' ASSOCIATION BRIQUE CITOYENNE lance donc le projet " Bibliothéque Verte" pour servir de cadre d'éclosion de la conscience Éco-citoyenne chez les plus jeunes dans l'espoir de diffuser cette conscience qui nous l'espérons deviendra de plus en plus collective.

TYPE DE CONSTRUCTION:

La bibliothéque sera entièrement construite avec des bouteilles en plastique remplies de déchets non organiques qui serviront de briques. En effet les bouteilles en plastiques qui elles mêmes sont des déchets constituent un moyen de séquestration éfficace des déchets non organiques et un outil pédagogique d'éducation environnementale.Ce sont des briques écologiques, résistantes, isothermiques, faciles à produire et durables.

LIEU D'IMPLANTATION:

École Élémentaire BANGO, Saint-Louis, Sénégal.

UTILISATION DES FONDS DOTÉS:

1) Aménagement écologique d'une bibilothéque verte construite entiérement avec des bouteilles plastiques.

2) Équipement bibliothéque: livres, documents, supports ou autres outils relatifs à l'environnement, la gestion des déchets, l'éducation environnementale, le recyclage... ainsi qu'un panneau photovoltaïque, un ordinateur...

RESULTATS ATTENDUS:

La bibliothéque verte sera un excellent moyen de sensibilisation et d'éducation environnementale qui sera à même de favoriser un changement des comportements. En commençant par les plus jeunes, les résultats attendus suivront rapidement à court terme. Le projet fera tâche d'huile et sera proposée dans toutes les écoles du Sénégal.La bibliothéque verte favorisera à coup sûr un réveil écologique et une éclosion d'une conscience éco-citoyenne dans nos communautés.

WHY A GREEN LIBRARY?

The idea of a green library is based on several observations:

1) The lack of environmental knowledge among young people and therefore their low involvement in the fight for behavior change and ecological awareness.

2) The multiplication of environmental threats: land degradation, pollution, climate change, ecological crisis, proliferation of waste of all kinds, deterioration of the living environment, educational environments.

3) The small share reserved to ecological constructions in public contracts.

THE CITIZEN BRICK ASSOCIATION is therefore launching the "Green Library" project to serve as a framework for the development of Eco-citizen awareness among the youngest, in the hope that this awareness will spread to bigger and bigger communities.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION:

The library will be entirely built with plastic bottles filled with non-organic waste that will serve as bricks. Indeed, plastic bottles which themselves are waste constitute a means of efficient sequestration of non organic waste and an educational tool for environmental education. They are ecological bricks, resistant, isothermal, easy to produce and durable.

LOCATION:

BANGO Elementary School, Saint-Louis, Senegal.

USE OF THE ENDOWED FUNDS:

1) Ecological development of a green library built entirely with plastic bottles.

2) Library equipment: books, documents, supports or other tools relating to the environment, waste management, environmental education, recycling ... as well as a photovoltaic panel, a computer ...

EXPECTED RESULTS:

The green library will be an excellent means of environmental awareness and education which will be able to encourage behavior change. Starting with the youngest, the expected results will quickly follow in the short term. The project will spread and will be offered in all schools in Senegal. The green library will undoubtedly promote an ecological awakening and an eco-citizen awareness in our communities.
