My aspirations extend far beyond personal success. Through my experiences, I have witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by small business owners, particularly women over the age of 50 who serve as heads of households. In the fashion industry, I have had the privilege of assisting a talented woman who runs a small atelier.
In the food and beverage sector, I have guided a woman who owns a small shop specializing in traditional Colombian pastries called empanadas. These remarkable individuals have grappled with the challenges of adapting to the digital era, recognizing the critical importance of establishing a digital presence in today's market.
I have taken it upon myself to help these incredible women establish a digital footprint, enabling them to expand their reach and increase their sales. As a result, they have been able to employ two additional people, contributing to job creation in their communities. Witnessing the positive impact of these initiatives has reinforced my conviction in the power of education and support for small businesses.
I require further funding that aims to uplift businesses in emerging countries.
