Limnogeological & oenological cruise on Lake Bourget

This crowfunding aims at renting a boat to perform together a limnogeological & oenological cruise on Lake Bourget

To do it so we need at least 75 participations of 45 euros. If we do not reach the objective, we won't be able to run the cruise. If we exceed the objective, the extra funding will be reinvested in the animation of the congress.

We'll embark on “Helios”, a sure and confortable electric-propelled tourism vessel

During the cruise, several speakers will make a full summary of the limnogeological and paleolimnological saga of the lake.

We'll pass through the Hautecombe Abbey that hosts the graves of several Sarde princes and princesses and dominate a shallow carbonate platform where one of the oldest archaeological sites around the lake lies. We'll then head toward the Saviere canal which makes the connection to the Rhône River and give Lake Bourget one of it most famous sedimentological particularity. After a stop in the scenic village of Chanaz where refreshments will be possible, we'll head back to Aix-les-Bains, while tasting some delicious local wines.
