FUNDRAISING FOR THE GIRL LEADERSHIP PROJECT
Created by Danielle KANKEU MAGNY

On behalf of ReKnow (Reference of Knowledge), a Cameroonian association committed to youth and women’s empowerment, we’re launching the “Girl Leadership Initiative” in over 40 schools in West Cameroon, a stable region currently hosting many displaced students due to the Anglophone Crisis.
With a generous donation of English books from the World Bank book project, we’re going beyond book distribution. We are creating bilingual learning opportunities and launching girls’ leadership clubs that will build confidence, digital skills, public speaking abilities, entrepreneurship, and mental health awareness.
Our goal is simple, we’re using this opportunity to address an alarming reality: the rise in school dropout, early pregnancies, and risky behavior among young girls across the country. We seek to help girls stay in school, discover their voice, and become role models in their communities. The project is ready to go, we have the books, the schools, the trainers. What we need now is the funding to bring this vision to life, meaning distributing the books in 40 schools in West Cameroon.
Be part of this dream and help us out… together we are stronger!!!
With just $20,000, we will reach more than 500 girls over one year. We are ready to act. Join us in equipping these future leaders with knowledge, confidence, and hope.
We’ve got the books. The schools. The trainers.
All we need now is YOU.
$20,000 = 1 year of empowerment for hundreds of girls
(at the low cost of $40 for each girl).
