Hello everyoneAfter the unexpected death of Manfred Strössenreuther in spring 1986, the South African Aero Club, represented by Peter Celliers, donated the Manfred Strössenreuther "Freedom of Flight" Trophy to the German Aero Club at the 1986 World Aerobatic Championships at South Cerney in Great Britain. This became a floating CIVA / FAI trophy, and was first awarded to the winner of the Final Freestyle programme at the 1986 WAC - in this case to Petr Jirmus of Czechloslovakia. Sadly this lovely trophy became lost after presentation to US pilot Zach Heffley at the 2007 World Championships, that year held at Grenada in Spain. Despite wide-ranging searches no trace of it has ever been found. Donations are now sought to finance a replacement trophy that will be awarded to future FAI World Champions in the Final Freestyle programme, starting with the 2019 WAC at Chateauroux in France. Please use the donation panel on the right here to help us to build this fund so that we can commission a replacement for this trophy. Our target is €15,000 and the fund will remain open until the next CIVA Plenary Conference in Warsaw, November 2018.

Hello everyone Sport Relief is a charity that was started in 2002 and it is associated with BBC Sport. This charity brings together entertainment and sport to raise money and awareness for people with mental illness and those living in poorer countries. It helps over 500,000 people across the world with anti-malarial drugs, helps over 3.4 million people in Africa through maternal health and helps more than 50,000 people in the UK suffering from mental illness. Narelle and Trudy, with help of some older students, will organise an adrenalin challenge for the whole senior school. There will be a gigantic obstacle course, blind-fold activities, team challenges and a refreshment stand. We aim to raise £350 to give to Sport Relief. This will be raised by your donations and by the students participating in the challenge. We would greatly appreciate the support and donations of everyone.Thank You
