The MBOMBO Mutant Vehicle for Afrika Burn

Dearest everyone,

We are building a mutant vehicle for the Arika Burn event 2023 (24.-30. april). Afrika Burn is a nonprofit organization. The MBOMBO Mutant vehicle project will function as a moving music and event stage, much like the "Robot Heart" for "Burning Man". The stage will have the shape and appearance of a spaceship from a galaxy far far away...

However, it threatens to fail. To realize this project we depend on your backing. Lots of creative energy and planning have been put into this project already. We found our perfect baseline, which will be a large trailer, that has already been bought and waits to be upgraded into a desert-ready beast. The first construction steps have been made. We are all volunteering for this project, but there are some costs we simply can not manage without donations.

We managed to raise a whooping 19.350€ already. But in order to be able to finish this beautiful beast, we are in desperate need of the missing amount of 20.650€.

With the money raised from this funding campaign (9.650€), we will get closer to building our own sound system, and make sure MBOMBO throughs some quality sound waves into the desert of Tankwa-Karoo at Afrika Burn.

Any additional money will go 100% into the build of MBOMBO.
