Help build a house in Bangladesh
I Ovidijus Kvietkauskas, am helping a brother, Shakel Mahmud, from Bangladesh with this campaign for his family back home.
Why should you help?
A Bangali family is in need of your help to improve their living conditions:
- replace tinplate for windows
- fund bins instead of using garden for keeping their garbage
- clean pathways exposed to drainage leakages
- conceal the open-drains so that they are not exposed to infestation of mosquitos and of course the bad smell
- stabilize sections of the building to prevent loose falling material.
- Improve the condition of the house's corridors.
- Replacing Tinplate Windows
- this is the only material along side some bat-wing glass less windows separating them from the monsoons which takes their toll on the inhabitants of the area when the season comes
Replacing Tinplate Windows
this is the only material along side some bat-wing glass less windows separating them from the monsoons which takes their toll on the inhabitants of the area when the season comes
Place to hold their Garbage
As of date the household uses their back garden to hold their trash and remove sections of it daily so that it could fit more, they are desperately in need of bins which can hold their garbage to provide them with standard living conditions.
Conceal Drainage for better Pathways, Smell and Mosquito Removal
Pathways are continuously flooded as the monsoon season approaches, the unconcealed pathways create extremely inappropriate walking conditions for the household leaving them exposed to horrible smells, mosquitos and countless infections.
Stabalizing the Building
The monsoon hits hard and each time it does so it may from time to time buckle any loose material of the building, we want to prevent the material from potentially falling on any children in/out of the house.
Appropriate House Corridors
without proper flooring or windows to keep out the weather, most of the corridors are exposed to the elements, we need your help to cover them so that we can form an enclosed area.
