COVID-19 help-project El Salvador

Hello everyone & welcome to this cause!

heartIF YOU DONATE, PLEASE LEAVE ALWAYS A MESSAGE. JUST SAYING YOUR NAME SO I CAN HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR EMAIL AND I CAN UPDATE YOU.heart

During the COVID-19 crisis we have all been affected! As Salvadorian I felt worried about how such a poor country would react to this emergency, since most of the Salvadoreans economically survive with their daily incomes. If you are reading this, you are from the lucky ones (like me!) and even though it is hard-time, we can rely on our monthly income to surpass this crisis.

That's why my family and I started to put together emergency food baskets filled with food for one week for more or less 4 persons for people who have lost the job or haven't sold anything during the day.

1 emergency food basket contains

  • 5 pounds rice
  • 5 pounds beans
  • 1 liter oil
  • 5 pasta packs
  • 2 sauce packs
  • 1 pound of salt
  • 4 instant soups
  • 1 pound cornflour for tortillas
  • 1 pack of cookies
  • 1 pack of cereal

the cost of goods of such a kit (packed in a reusable bag) is 20 USD. All components have been/will be bought from market stands and not from the supermarket!

If you want to help a family donate a kit! Or donate however much you can. We will notify you to whom did your pack go! Thank you & put your name so I can send you the picture! 💙All good things that go around, come around. 🇸🇻

DISCLAIMER: If you try to pay with a debit card from El Salvador, it can happen that Leetchi can not proceed with the payment and your bank will block the amount but the transaction would fail. This amount will be unblocked after! DONT WORRY!  Please try again with a credit card. This action has been privately organized by a private family in El Salvador. We can not issue a donation receipt.
