From LA to Mexico! English Message Further Below 🇫🇷 Alors que nous étions en pleine organisation de notre périple Californien, en parallèle, depuis quelques semaines, nous avons été contactés par des organisateurs et musiciens du Mexique qui ont clairement manifesté l’envie, la passion, le sérieux de faire jouer WAITING FOR WORDS à MEXICO CITY. Au fur et à mesure que nous avancions dans le US Tour, il nous est apparu que le niveau de complications administratives (douanes, logistique sur place), le budget pharaonique (Los Angeles est la ville la plus chère au monde) et surtout le manque de support humain, financier et promotionnel sur place efficace rendaient le projet totalement démesuré. Après des semaines de travail avec la société américaine avec qui nous avions contractualisé, nous n’avions aucune garantie sérieuse que cet investissement massif n’apporte une quelconque retombée et surtout, que la tournée se fasse dans de bonnes conditions. Nous avons donc pesé les pours et contres de chacune des destinations et, préférant miser sur le long terme plutôt que l’instant, notre choix de cœur et de raison s’est porté sur le Mexique plutôt que Los Angeles. Nous changeons donc de destination et... WAITING FOR WORDS jouera le SAMEDI 2 MARS à MEXICO CITY au Club Mezcalli ! 2 dates supplémentaires sont en cours d’organisation. While we were in the middle of organizing our Californian trip, at the same time, a few weeks ago, we were contacted by organizers and musicians from Mexico who clearly demonstrated the desire, the passion, the seriousness to program WAITING FOR WORDS in MEXICO CITY. As we progressed in the US Tour organization, it became clear to us that the level of administrative complications (customs, on-site logistics), the pharaonic budget (Los Angeles is the most expensive city in the world) and above all the lack of effective human, financial and promotional support abroad made the project totally disproportionate. After weeks of work with the American company with whom we contracted this project, we had no serious guarantee that this massive investment would bring any benefit and, above all, that the tour would take place in good conditions. We therefore weighed the pros and cons of each destination and, preferred focusing on the long term rather than the moment, our choice of heart and reason fell on Mexico rather than Los Angeles. WAITING FOR WORDS will play on Saturday March 2 in MEXICO CITY at Club Mezcalli! And 2 additional dates are being organized.
